REMANUFACTURED – MOPAR OE
- Customer receives a replacement product
- Industrialized manufacturing process overseen by OE engineers
- Part is restored to OE specifications
- 100% new mandatory replacement parts are used
- Upgrades may be made
- Original equipment 3-Year/100,000-Mile Mopar Powertrain Limited Warranty*
- Risk: Very low
REMANUFACTURED – AFTERMARKET
- Customer receives a replacement product
- Remanufacturing process may not be industrialized
- Part is NOT restored to OE specifications (may be reverse-engineered)
- Used or non-upgraded parts may be used
- Limited warranty
- Risk: Moderate
REBUILT
- Customer keeps original product
- Mechanic rebuilds only what is required
- No set specifications or standards
- Rebuild performed outside of the vehicle
- Limited warranty
- Risk: High
REPAIRED
- Customer keeps original product
- Mechanic repairs only what is required
- No set specifications or standards
- Could be repaired in or outside of the vehicle
- Warranty on labor only
- Risk: High
USED/SALVAGE
- Customer receives replacement product
- Unknown maintenance history
- Unknown accident history
- Unknown rebuild or repair history
- May not include warranty, or may charge additional for warranty
- Risk: Very high

Original Equipment (OE), or Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), is equipment used in the original build by the
manufacturer when the vehicle was new. Remanufactured OE parts are completely rebuilt to factory standards using OE parts, including many current upgrades.
