After producing the Dodge Durango SRT®, America’s fastest, most powerful and most capable three-row SUV, we had to ask one question…how do you take it to the next level? The answer? You team up with Mopar® to create the most unique version possible.
Ninth in a series of limited-edition factory-modified vehicles, the Mopar ’18 Dodge Durango SRT was unveiled at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, and it served up some major whiplash to passersby. First and foremost, the SUV’s Octane Red exterior color is capped with a near body-wide, Gloss Black “stripe” that covers the vehicle’s functional hood then continues up and over the roof. It doesn’t stop until it hits the rear spoiler. The SUV will also be offered to customers in a Blue Pearl Coat exterior color, which will include the stripe.
Gloss Black paint masks the background of the tail lamps as well. In addition to its already action-ready stance, the SUV ups the ante with Mopar Performance Lowering Springs and Exhaust, which drop it even closer to the ground and provide a more aggressive profile.
Also on the exterior, a distinctive Mopar® 18 badge is featured on the front grille and a Mopar designed badge on the tailgate.
While the outside truly has the ability to wow, the interior is striking as well. Stock SRT® leather seats are embroidered with a Light Grey Mopar logo. The same Light Grey stitching outlines the standard black leather seats and graces the console and instrument panel. And a serialized badge is featured on the center console.
The standard Dodge Durango SRT powertrain does not disappoint either. It is the fastest and most powerful in its class. It’s a 392-cubic-inch HEMI® V8 engine with 475 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque.
As you can see, when the vast creative resources at Mopar are tapped, great things happen. Keep your eye out for this distinctive Limited Edition Mopar ’18 Dodge Durango SRT, as only 250 will be produced for the U.S. and Canada.
