Typical companies kickoff meetings old-school style: the banging of a gavel, perhaps, or a “Hey, get in here!” Mopar®, however, does it different. When it came time for Pietro Gorlier, President and CEO – Mopar, Chrysler Group LLC’s service, parts and customer-care brand, to call a “meeting” to order at the 2010 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas, he did it in true “Omega M” fashion: with the throaty roar of the new V-10 Mopar Challenger Drag Pak.
We heard about the Texas LX connection this past fall when Dodge representatives Heather Heughens and Scott Vandekerckhove visited the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area with the new 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8® 392 edition and the 2011 Dodge Charger R/T during their HEMI® Highway Tour. They met Pedro Murillo, the 24-year-old president of the DFW LX Modern Mopar Club (see our story on p. 52) and saw a host of personalized LX and LC Mopars. Murillo gathered some cool Mopar eye candy to share with our readers. There are another 400 or so modded LXs in the club, but we only have four pages …
