WELL-READ YOUNGSTER

Here’s a photo of my granddaughter, Kayla, from Columbia, S.C. The love for a Mopar can happen at ANY age!

Thanks for sharing the great photo of your adorable granddaughter, Gerald. Perhaps a seed has been planted for a future Mopar owner.—Ed.

MOPAR GEAR LUBRICANT

Hello, I’m a Team Mopar member. I know years ago you did a piece on manual trans lubricants. I have looked through my back issues (some missing) and can’t seem to find it. It had all the Mopar transmission lubricants and replacement fluids. Any chance you know what issue that was in? Thank you.

You’re referring to a You Should Know article in the May/June 2008 issue
of Mopar Magazine (pp. 44–45) titled “The Unsung Heroes of Transmissions, Differentials and Transfer Cases.” MM back issues—going back to January/February 2008—are available online at MoparMagazine.com.—Ed.

NEW MOPAR WHEELS

I just purchased a new 2011 Chrysler 300 and I’m interested in upgrading to 20-inch wheels. Are any Mopar wheels available for my 2011 yet?

Two different 20-inch x 8-inch forged aluminum 10-spoke wheels are now available as accessories from Mopar. Constructed of forged aluminum, the wheels are available in either a Satin Carbon or painted Gloss Black finish. A traditional five-spoke design, measuring 20-inch x 8-inch clad in Black Chrome, will also be available. Mopar will offer other wheels in 18-inch and 19-inch diameters and include an array of finishes. For additional information on Mopar wheels or other accessories, contact your local Chrysler dealer for date availability and pricing information.—Ed.

FROM ONE V-10 OWNER TO ANOTHER

I really enjoyed the story about Chris Yerton’s V-10 Li’l Red Truck in the May/June 2011 issue of Mopar Magazine. My Li’l Red Truck is not that nice, but it looks cool. My other toys include a 2009 Dodge Viper SRT10® and a 2006 Dodge Ram SRT10.

Nice pair of smokin’ fast SRT10s, David. We’re sure you get a lot of attention driving them. Thank you for the correspondence and
interest in Mopar Magazine.—Ed
