DODGE VEHICLES—THEY'RE ALL I OWN

I really did not know about Mopar Magazine until I read an issue at my Dodge dealer while my car was in for service. It’s always interesting to read MM Tech Tips, since all I own are Dodge vehicles. Of course, I’m always expecting to see some fine cars in Reader Rides. My rides include a 1973 Dodge Challenger Rallye sold at
Mr. Norm’s Grand Spaulding Dodge as documented by Galen Govier. It has a 340 4 bbl w/4-speed and 3.91 rear-end in original Dark Silver Metallic paint. The HEMI® Orange 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8® is serial no. 3809—must I say more. And, my wife’s ride the 2005 Dodge Magnum R/T HEMI in Magnesium paint. I enjoy reading the magazine—keep them coming!

‘CUDA CONVERTIBLES

Here are two of my convertibles. I purchased the red ’71 Plymouth ‘Cuda in 1991 for my son, then 5-years-old. The vehicle has a 340 6-Barrel, 4-speed transmission and 21 factory options. The ‘70 Plymouth ‘Cuda 440 6-Barrel has 17 factory options.

MOPAR BOB’S PRIDE & JOY

This is my friend’s Dodge pickup, “Mopar Bob” Menscher. He is a loyal Mopar enthusiast for many years and a subscriber to Mopar Magazine. His pride and joy is a 1977 Dodge Stepside Adventurer long-bed pickup. Bob and his pickup represent the Mopar community on a daily basis as well as every car show and cruise night he can attend. He flies large Mopar flags on the back of his truck every weekend! The truck is used for weekend show duty as well as a daily driver and has racked up almost 300,000 miles! Bob even hauls firewood in the custom made aluminum bed! The truck runs a 360 V-8, Edelbrock 4 bbl and intake, Mopar Performance ignition system, floor shifted 727 TF transmission and other
performance upgrades. He would be thrilled to see his truck in your magazine. Thanks!

318-POWERED ’35 PLYMOUTH STREET ROD

This is our 1935 Plymouth PJ Touring Sedan street rod—all MOPAR! The ‘35 is powered by a 318 small block Chrysler with a 904 transmission. The stock front suspension has been upgraded with Chrysler Conquest Disc brakes and a 7 ¼" rear axle. Painted Chrysler Designer Beige and Designer Tan with factory styled interior including the factory gauges from 1935—upgraded to 12v—the car has won many awards as well as Best Mopar and Best Street Rod at events.

RARE ’56 BELVEDERE

Our son Rick took this great picture of my 1956 Plymouth Belvedere. The vehicle is STOCK—except the paint. I had body work done and a paint job. The engine is a flathead six, standard shift. I’m always in the minority at local car shows. I see very few Chrysler products from the 50s.
