There’s not a lot that can be said about brakes that hasn’t already been said a hundred times. The bottom line is: You need them. In fact, brakes could easily be considered the most important parts on a vehicle. Wanna talk safety? Then it’s time to talk brakes. Because, while the powertrain may help to get you off the starting line, it’s always nice to be able to stop and enjoy your victory after you cross the checkered flag. That’s why it’s so important to keep Mopar® quality and performance front-of-mind when selecting the right parts for a brake repair job.
Brake repair can be a frequent repair, but it doesn’t have to be a laborious repair. Mopar offers three distinct brake kits, depending on the vehicle needs and owner preference. They’re all designed to provide everything you need to complete the brake repair job, all in a single package. Each provides new materials for optimal braking performance, so the vehicle will stop right on cue. Plus, you won’t need to source each individual part separately or machine worn rotors. Get in, get out. Done.
Not in the market for a complete brake overhaul? Mopar still offers a full line of individual brake parts to give you quality and safety—fast. Contact your local dealer for brake pads and shoes, rotors and calipers. And always remember to check brakes frequently for wear. They’re one part of the vehicle you don’t want to let run away.

Brake fluid is the lifeblood of automotive braking systems. Make sure to check the brake fluid level, or have it checked regularly. When brake fluid falls below the factory recommended level, use Mopar brake fluid for Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram vehicles.* When filling the reservoir, keep the reservoir covered except for the time you need to top the fluid off, and never leave a can of brake fluid uncovered. Brake fluid must maintain a very high boiling point, and exposure to air allows the fluid to absorb moisture, which lowers the boiling point.
Brake fluid level will drop slightly as brake pads wear. This is normal. If you notice a sudden drop in brake fluid, however, have your brakes inspected immediately. n
*Refer to the owner’s manual for the correct brake fluid recommendation. Some vehicles require Mopar DOT 4, Part No. 04549625AC, others require Mopar DOT 3, Part No. 04318080AB.
