HEMI®-Powered Allard

HEMI-Powered Allard

HEMI Side View

Following up on an article published in a previous issue, here is the Allard J2X MkII, with 5.7L HEMI® Crate Engine, in action. The legendary Brian Redman was driving the J2X pace car at the Vintage Racing Services’ Jefferson 500 race weekend in Summit Point, W.Va. Brian loved it!

Thanks for the note, Roger. Many of our readers were interested in the HEMI-powered Allard article—published on pages 8–9 in the January/February 2009 issue of Mopar Magazine—and will be glad to hear this follow-up on the Allard J2X MkII.—Ed.

Mopar Mark

I’ve been a Mopar fan for as long as I can remember. I can still see the 1964 Plymouth Belvedere with slant six and push button trans selector. We have three Mopars in the household now: 2004 Dodge Stratus R/T, 2005 Ram 1500 4x4 and a 2009 deep water blue Dodge Challenger R/T. Thank you for all you do with the magazine, especially the Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM) tip in the May/June 2009 issue. I’m doing a lot of reading about all the goodies in this great car (Challenger R/T)!

New Dodge Owner

I have been receiving Mopar Magazine for some time and really like the information. I just purchased my first Dodge. It is a 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 dually equipped with a Cummins-diesel engine, and a sneaker wheel-lift. I’m very impressed with the power this truck has. I really enjoy driving it and I receive a lot of compliments from other truck enthusiasts. Now that I am a Dodge owner my next truck will be a Dodge as well. Keep up the good engineering.

Mopar Performance Parts Catalog

I noticed the Mopar Performance Parts Catalog is available for download at www.mopar.com. Where can I purchase a hard copy of this new issue? Also, I want to commend you and your staff on the fine job of bringing Mopar, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and the Mopar Nation to light. Keep up the good work!

Mopar Magazine Back Issue

I need an extra copy of the May/June 2009 issue of Mopar Magazine. Would you send me a PDF? I don’t need the print version. Thanks for your help!
