Here’s a picture of my “twins.” A 1970 Challenger R/T, 440, 4-speed, super track pak. The ‘70 is one of 54 built (I’ve owned since 1983), complete with a working AM 8-track radio. Elvis never sounded so good. The other Challenger is a 2009 SRT8 6-speed—Elvis does sound much better in surround sound—and sun roof. Both cars are a total joy to drive and grab lots of attention wherever they go.

My friend has owned this show quality ‘65 Belvedere post car since 1979. The vehicle is very well built with a Koffel-built B1 motor (without nitrous) and is street driven. The Belvedere is all steel except for the hood and bumpers. Best figures: 8.46 seconds at 161 mph.

This is my 2005 Dodge Neon SRT4® daily-driver and ¼ mile bracket race car on the weekends. It does not have a HEMI®; but it’s faster than one. Not all Mopar fans that bleed blue have a ‘Cuda.

This is my fiancé Nick Latsaras’s, “other woman.” He has been a Mopar man all his life—Chargers being his favorite. He has owned five or six Chargers in the past, (the last being a ‘68 with a built-to-the-hilt 440), but this is his first brand new one. “Betty” started out as a plain-Jane 3.5L high output SE; but, Nick being the old school Mopar man he is, immediately asked the dealer about options that could be added. He had a number of mods performed, including: the resonators removed, the exhaust changed over from single exhaust to dual exhaust, plug and play chip, light up “Charger” door sill guards, K&N air filter, wing, chin spoiler, fog lights, blacked out back decklid graphic, R/T and old school Super Bee emblems, and 5-spoke chrome wheels. Nick has the most unique Charger in our area. We love your magazine, and enjoy seeing everyone else’s Mopars.
