I work for the Broward County Sheriffs Office (B.S.O.), Regional Traffic Enforcement Unit, and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Recently B.S.O. acquired several new 2009 Dodge Challenger R/Ts equipped with 5.7L HEMI®s to use as police interceptors. Two of the Challengers are assigned to my unit for aggressive driving enforcement: one is unmarked complete with undercover lights and siren, the second Challenger also equipped with lights and siren is marked with special “ghost graphics” of our current patrol car markings. The stealth graphics allow this police interceptor to blend in with traffic allowing the deputy to observe traffic violations he wouldn’t ordinarily see in a marked sheriff car. A third Challenger which is marked in our agencies nostalgic green and white markings equipped with overhead light bar is utilized for special events as well as education. To the best of my knowledge no law enforcement agency in Florida is operating Dodge Challenger Police Interceptors. It would be great to see more of these outstanding vehicles in your magazine. I am an avid muscle car enthusiast and personally own a 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8® so I share the love of these vehicles. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Deputy Sheridan, these are fantastic pictures of your department’s Dodge Challenger Police Interceptors. We must admit they’re very intimidating looking vehicles. Thank you for your correspondence and interest in Mopar Magazine.—Ed.
I’m the owner of this Pro-Street 1969 Dodge Dart GTS built in Europe for the Swedish market. The vehicle has a 340 engine with a 727 TorqueFlite transmission and 4.10 gears. The car’s original color was dark red with a black vinyl top and black interior.

That’s a sharp Dart GTS, Krister. Thank you for sharing the photos.—Ed.
I was amazed to see the photo of Setto Postoian and Don Garlits standing in a group next to Setto’s dragster in the September/October issue of Mopar Magazine. I took that photo more than forty years ago! That’s my brother-in-law standing next to the car. I have many other photos of Setto as well as photos of other dragsters, such as Chris Karamesines’ Chizler fuel rail, the Trotters’ injected HEMI, Archie Liederbarnd’s Hyper Sonic 392 HEMI, the Ramchargers’ High and Mighty at Detroit Dragway and many others I would like to show you.

What a photo library! We definitely would like to see your photos. Thank you for taking the time to contact Mopar Magazine and sharing your knowledge about the photograph of Serop “Setto” Postoian. We’re always grateful for MM contributing Mopar fans, like you, that have helped this publication shine the light on Mopar’s racing heritage.—Ed.
This aerial shot of my property was taken a couple of years ago. Since then I have added another row of Cedars—between the others—to fill in the “M.” Pictured clockwise starting from the top of the “M” is my ’36 Plymouth, ’95 Avenger, ’05 PT Convertible, ’77 Dodge D200 Club Cab and ’79 LeBaron. I have to do an update shot to include Maggie (my Dodge Magnum) and the new row of Cedars I planted this year.
