Team Mopar Formula Drift Champ Hübinette to Debut New DVD

Team Mopar driver Samuel Hübinette filmed scenes for his extreme-action DVD at the famed ICEHOTEL in Sweden.

Two-time Team Mopar Formula Drift (FD) champion Samuel Hübinette has announced an early 2009 release date for his highly anticipated first-ever drifting DVD, entitled “Drift Ya Later.”

The talents of the “Crazy Swede,” a working Hollywood stunt driver, will be on full display in the DVD. Viewers will take a trip with Hübinette back to his roots in Jokkmokk, Sweden, where a young “Crazy Swede” learned to drift on ice lakes. The drifting superstar also traveled with a production crew above the Arctic Circle to perform some sick ice drifting outside the world famous ICEHOTEL in Jukkasjärrvi, Sweden.

Hübinette’s Mopar-sponsored drift car takes a starring role in the extreme-action DVD. The production includes a behind-the-scenes, documentary-style peek at Hübinette at work with his Mopar NuFormz team at the 2008 Las Vegas FD event, where he scored a podium finish. In addition, fans eager to learn the art of drifting will be treated to a primer on drift techniques by Hübinette himself. The nine-time FD event winner will guide viewers through five basic drifting steps, and also the not-so-basic, including his “signature” 360 drift turn.
