Thanks in part to Liberty Jeep Super Store in Rapid City, S.D., a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is mingling among some of our country’s most famous presidents.
Liberty Jeep® Super Store donated a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon to the Mount Rushmore National Memorial during its annual Independence Day Celebration last summer. The Wrangler will be used as a support vehicle for the Memorial’s Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program.
D.A.R.E. brings law enforcement officers into schools to teach children how to resist peer pressure and live productive drug, alcohol and violence-free lives. Other events such as parades, D.A.R.E. graduations and park events will provide opportunities for the Memorial’s two D.A.R.E. officers to spread their message with the help of their customized Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.
“We are absolutely thrilled the Mount Rushmore Society donated this vehicle to the Memorial and the D.A.R.E. program,” said Mount Rushmore Superintendent, Gerard Baker. “The kids are going to love it. We truly appreciate their generosity and the generosity of all the folks who helped make this happen.”
