Heinssen and Daro took their turn as crew members at the O’Reilly NHRA Fall Nationals in Ennis, Texas on Sept. 18–21.

Souders, parts advisor at Brunswick Auto Mart in Cleveland, said he was shocked when he heard the news. “I’ve always been a big NHRA fan, so it was a great surprise when I found out about the award.” He added, “I had an absolutely amazing time. The driver and crew couldn’t have been nicer and they really made me feel like part of the team.”

“I won him two rounds,” said Heinssen of Beckman, who advanced to the semifinals at the Texas event. “I was the good look charm for at least two rounds, anyway. It was really cool. Being an enthusiast and being a drag racer myself, and remembering what it was all about, was real, real cool.”
