The dirt will fly at the 2008 edition of the Chili Bowl Midget Nationals.
Team Mopar’s Kasey Kahne Racing (KKR), led by the man himself, KKR owner and NASCAR Nextel Cup star Kasey Kahne, will battle star drivers from various racing circuits in the prestigious 22nd annual Chili Bowl Midget Nationals, scheduled to take place at Tulsa Expo Raceway’s indoor quarter-mile dirt oval on January 12, 2008.
KKR’s four-man squad will be rounded out by Brady Bacon, Brad Sweet and the runner-up in the 2007 World of Outlaws Sprint Series championship, Joey Saldana. The KKR “Four Horseman” will face-off before a sold-out crowd against a large field of competitors, including four-time NHRA champion and Team Mopar driver Gary Scelzi, as well as reigning Chili Bowl champion and former Nextel Cup champ Tony Stewart, who will be racing for his third “Golden Driller” Chili Bowl trophy.
Event sponsors for the 22nd annual Chili Bowl Midget Nationals include the Oklahoma Dodge Dealers, as well as presenting sponsor Lucas Oil. See the Chili Bowl live on television for the first time ever on HBO Pay-Per-View at 8 p.m. ET. Check with your cable or satellite operator for information.
